A warm mug of golden turmeric ginger latte with frothy almond milk, topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon and surrounded by fresh turmeric, ginger, and a honey dipper.

This Golden Turmeric Ginger Latte is a cozy, dairy-free morning drink packed with anti-inflammatory spices and creamy almond milk. Lightly sweetened with honey or maple syrup, it’s gluten-free and naturally supports digestion, joints, and steady energy.

***All of my recipes are gluten-free, dairy-free, blood sugar-friendly, and gut-supportive. We are all different so you may need to make adjustments based on your body’s unique needs.***

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or coconut, oat, or cashew milk)
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric (or 1-inch fresh turmeric root, grated)
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger (or 1-inch fresh ginger root, grated)
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of black pepper (boosts turmeric absorption)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (optional, for creaminess and absorption)
  • 1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup (to taste)
  • Optional: pinch of cardamom or nutmeg for extra warmth

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, warm almond milk, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, and coconut oil (if using) over medium heat. Whisk to combine.
  2. Heat until steaming but not boiling.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in honey or maple syrup.
  4. Froth with a handheld frother or blend for 20–30 seconds for a creamy, foamy finish.
  5. Pour into your favorite mug and sprinkle with cinnamon before serving.

Recipe Notes:

  1. Add a scoop of collagen peptides for gut and skin health.
  2. Use fresh turmeric and ginger for a more vibrant flavor and stronger anti-inflammatory benefits.
  3. Best enjoyed first thing in the morning to gently wake up digestion.
