A glass jar of homemade balsamic vinaigrette beside a bowl of mixed salad greens.

This clean balsamic vinaigrette is a go-to for adding tangy, balanced flavor to your favorite salads without the junk. It’s made with real food ingredients to support your gut and blood sugar—and it only takes minutes to whisk together!

***All of my recipes are gluten-free, dairy-free, blood sugar-friendly, and gut-supportive. We are all different so you may need to make adjustments based on your body’s unique needs.***

Ingredients:

  • 6 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp raw honey (or pure maple syrup)
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 5 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the vinegar, lemon juice, and honey. Whisk to blend.
  2. Stir in the mustard and mix well.
  3. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously until the dressing is emulsified.
  4. Store in a covered container in the fridge. If it thickens when chilled, let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes and stir before serving.

Recipe Notes:

  1. This recipe makes 16 servings (1 Tbsp each).
  2. Substitute maple syrup for honey to make this vegan-friendly.
