A warm bowl of sautéed apples with chopped pecans, lightly coated in cinnamon.

These cinnamon sautéed apples with pecans are naturally sweet, quick to prepare, and perfect for breakfast, snack, or dessert.

***All of my recipes are gluten-free, dairy-free, blood sugar-friendly, and gut-supportive. We are all different so you may need to make adjustments based on your body’s unique needs.***

Ingredients:

  • 3 apples, cored and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon ghee 
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • ½ cup (50 g) pecans, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Bring a frying pan to medium-high heat.
  2. Toast the pecans for 3–4 minutes, then add ghee to the pan.
  3. Add the apples and cinnamon.
  4. Sauté for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender.

Recipe Notes:

  1. Firm, tart varieties like Pink Lady work best.
