These cinnamon sautéed apples with pecans are naturally sweet, quick to prepare, and perfect for breakfast, snack, or dessert.
***All of my recipes are gluten-free, dairy-free, blood sugar-friendly, and gut-supportive. We are all different so you may need to make adjustments based on your body’s unique needs.***
Ingredients:
- 3 apples, cored and sliced
- 1 tablespoon ghee
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- ½ cup (50 g) pecans, chopped
Instructions:
- Bring a frying pan to medium-high heat.
- Toast the pecans for 3–4 minutes, then add ghee to the pan.
- Add the apples and cinnamon.
- Sauté for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender.
Recipe Notes:
- Firm, tart varieties like Pink Lady work best.
