These Banana Chocolate Chip Oaties are made with just a few pantry staples and are naturally sweetened with ripe bananas. They’re perfect for those moments when you want a little something sweet but still nourishing — and yes, they’re gluten-free, dairy-free, and kid-approved.
***All of my recipes are gluten-free, dairy-free, blood sugar-friendly, and gut-supportive. We are all different so you may need to make adjustments based on your body’s unique needs.***
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe mashed bananas
- 1 cup gluten-free oats
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½–1 cup chocolate chips
- Optional: 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a bowl, add mashed bananas, oats, and cinnamon. Mix well to combine. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Using a tablespoon, scoop mixture into heaping tablespoons onto a greased baking sheet (makes about 15 oaties). Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator or pantry for 3–5 days.
Recipe Notes:
- Make sure to use certified gluten-free oats if you’re avoiding gluten.
- Try swapping chocolate chips for dried cranberries or chopped nuts for a fun twist.
