A warm lavender moon milk latte in a ceramic mug, topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon and dried lavender, set on a cozy evening table with a candle and book.

This Lavender Moon Milk Latte is a cozy, dairy-free evening drink designed to help you unwind. With warm almond milk, a touch of lavender, and magnesium powder, it’s gluten-free and supportive of relaxation, digestion, and restful sleep.

***All of my recipes are gluten-free, dairy-free, blood sugar-friendly, and gut-supportive. We are all different so you may need to make adjustments based on your body’s unique needs.***

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or oat, coconut, or cashew milk)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger (optional, for warmth)
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp dried culinary lavender (or 1 lavender tea bag)
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 serving magnesium powder (unflavored)

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, warm the almond milk with lavender, cinnamon, ginger, and vanilla over low-medium heat. Do not boil.
  2. Let steep for 5 minutes if using dried lavender. Strain before serving.
  3. Stir in honey or maple syrup if using.
  4. Add magnesium powder and whisk until fully dissolved.
  5. Pour into a cozy mug, sprinkle with cinnamon or a pinch of lavender, and enjoy before bed.

Recipe Notes:

  1. Use Natural Calm magnesium powder or another clean, well-absorbed form of magnesium.
  2. Swap dried lavender for chamomile tea if preferred.
  3. This latte is perfect as part of an evening wind-down routine—combine with dim lights and no screens for best sleep results.
