This Golden Turmeric Ginger Latte is a cozy, dairy-free morning drink packed with anti-inflammatory spices and creamy almond milk. Lightly sweetened with honey or maple syrup, it’s gluten-free and naturally supports digestion, joints, and steady energy.
***All of my recipes are gluten-free, dairy-free, blood sugar-friendly, and gut-supportive. We are all different so you may need to make adjustments based on your body’s unique needs.***
Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or coconut, oat, or cashew milk)
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric (or 1-inch fresh turmeric root, grated)
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger (or 1-inch fresh ginger root, grated)
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of black pepper (boosts turmeric absorption)
- 1 tsp coconut oil (optional, for creaminess and absorption)
- 1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup (to taste)
- Optional: pinch of cardamom or nutmeg for extra warmth
Instructions:
- In a small saucepan, warm almond milk, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, and coconut oil (if using) over medium heat. Whisk to combine.
- Heat until steaming but not boiling.
- Remove from heat and stir in honey or maple syrup.
- Froth with a handheld frother or blend for 20–30 seconds for a creamy, foamy finish.
- Pour into your favorite mug and sprinkle with cinnamon before serving.
Recipe Notes:
